100th Anniversary of the Boston Police Motorcycle Squad

In 1912, the City of Boston Police Department formed their first motorcycle squad. Riding a combination of solo’s and sidecar outfits; they moved quickly through the city in formations and on patrol.
We are currently building a 1929 Indian Boston Police Motorcycle that will be part of official ceremony in Boston in as yet to be determined date this summer. Afterwards, the motorcycle will be on display in the museum.

We are looking for history, pictures, artifacts and any related Boston Police related items to complete the exhibit. As always, the contributions of others always enhance the exhibit.

The bike has been completed and was featured in a celebration of the motorcycle squad in Boston.
